Mother of pearl [ 1 - 2 - 3 ]

Beautiful new mother-of-pearl inlay design pictures are a wonderful gift for friend or lover!
The unique picture design is composed of lacquer inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The backboard is lacquered eighteen times, and allowed to dry each time before the mother-of-pearl is inlayed. Mother-of-pearl are cut out before it can be inlaid into the work. The mother-of-pearl is hand-sawn. The pattern is first stenciled onto the Mother of pearl, before being sawn with an especially fine hack.
Cutouts in the board are made to the exact shape of the mother-of-pearl that will fit into it. Then finally, the lacquer picture is finely engraved.
This work is very intricate, in every detail. It takes 2 months to produce it.
