Our policy
We normally deliver only to UK destinations. Standard delivery for those
products shown as available from stock will be within 3 days for orders
received and accepted before 3 p.m. For overseas destinations delivery
will normally be within 7 days from order acceptance. You will receive
an order acceptance from us by e-mail once we have satisfactorily
verified your payment details.
Payment Information
Payment can be made through our secured Paypal shopping basket by credit or debit
card. However, payment by debit card will take about a week to clear so please
consider
this before making a purchase. Alternatively, if you have a Paypal account, you
can purchase our goods using that account for a hassle-free, easy transaction.
Making payment with Paypal is easy, fast, free and secure. If you do not have
a Paypal account, open it at
http://www.paypal.com. In order to add items to
the shopping basket, while browsing the catalogue simply click on the "add item
to basket" button below the relevant item. This will open a new window showing
your Paypal Shopping Basket. As you add more items, these are automatically added
to the basket. Follow the instructions from the Basket window to proceed to the
secure checkout, or alternatively, close the Basket window and open it again
at a later point from the DF Handicrafts website.
We also accept payment by cheque or in cash (at your own risk). Cheque will take from 3-5 days to be cleared. We always dispatch the items within 24 hours when we have your payment.
Finally, there are no postage costs for local pick up (please email us to arrange the time in advance - use contact details.)
Delivery and packing charge
Our delivery charges are as follows:
- Heavy items
like wood, and fragile items like Ceramic or
Embroidery Pictures, require special delivery and
packing, so the Post and Packaging charges are
more expensive:
£6.99
per order (no matter how big or small order
is, unless you can arrange to pick it up your
self).
- Standard post and packing charge for Lacquer,
Mother of Pearl items is
£3.99
per order ( unless you can pick it
up your self at 14 Fonthill Road
- AB11 6UB).
- For other items like Bamboo goods, post and packing
charge is
£2.99
per order
(unless you can pick it up your self).

If you don't like any item for any reason,
we shall provide a full refund if the return
item is in its original condition and you
return it within 7 days of receipt of the item.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
